"My inspirations as an Artist come from connecting color, movement, energy and space to emotions and the human psyche. I draw my viewers in using layered texture and passionate movement onto large canvases. My goal is to have you experience fresh, unique breathtaking Abstract Art. I would love for you to think about the feeling you get from being engulfed by a painting and then after reading the title, going back to it to see how it has changed your viewpoint."
I'm an Abstract Action Painter. I get just as much joy from the process of painting and my interaction with the materials as I do from the finished product. My vivid paintings have long evolved from the original realistic portraits I started with 20 years ago. Working through various media ranging from pencil to oils, pure acrylic paint allures me today. I landed on acrylic because of the wide-ranging color palette available, the thick textures which can be layered onto canvas and the quick drying time since I love to work furiously. My work is inspired by travel across the US, Canada, Europe, India and China as well as personal experiences in my life. Each adventure has brought out unique color stories and emotional journeys within every new series. I love satisfying my customers by painting commissioned pieces.

I studied at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts, Delaware College of Art and Design and Pennsylvania State University, including study abroad in France. I have been a member of the Delaware Foundation for the Visual Arts (DFVA), the Delaware Center for Contemporary Arts (DCCA), the Newark Arts Alliance (NAA), the center for Creative Arts (CCArts) and Delaware by Hand. I love to contribute to charities like the recent rotary club's "Let it Rain" project where I painted a custom rain barrel. It was auctioned off and benefitted various water conservation projects locally and internationally. My work is in many private collections including homes in the US and Europe, and corporate and medical facilities.

My paintings have been featured at the following exhibitions listed below and I have been highlighted in these publications: Spark Weekly, Living Well Magazine, Community News and the Lock Haven Express. Detailed interviews were recorded on WVUD "Art Sounds" Radio and DE State of the Arts 1450 WILM News Radio. I made a television appearance on the Tim Qualls Show.
